Finch

Finch brings thoughtfully designed, affordable housing to Boise’s evolving West End.
Developed in two phases, Finch expands access to thoughtfully designed housing while contributing to the continued evolution of one of downtown Boise’s emerging neighborhoods. One-, two-, and three-bedroom residences serve households across a range of income levels, creating a community intended to support greater housing choice within the urban core. The design takes cues from the surrounding neighborhood rather than approaching affordable housing as a standalone development. Multiple residential buildings define the street edge while creating smaller pockets for outdoor gathering, and a walkable, multimodal site plan connects residents to downtown, nearby parks, and the Boise River Greenbelt. New sidewalks, street trees and other streetscape improvements further extend the investment into the surrounding neighborhood. With Roundhouse Construction leading the second phase, Finch represents an integrated approach to development, construction, and long-term community investment.
