I've learned that most things aren't as complicated as we make them. The hard part is usually getting people aligned and moving in the same direction. I don't mind being wrong, but I hate missing an opportunity to learn something.

Facilities Manager

Ryan brings over twenty years of property and facilities operations experience spanning multifamily and hospitality, including a run as Chief Engineer at a newly built downtown Portland hotel where he managed building systems, vendor contracts, and capital repairs. He returned to multifamily at Roundhouse in 2024 as Maintenance Supervisor and was promoted to Facilities Manager within the year, now overseeing preventive maintenance programs and technician staffing across the portfolio. His background in both industries means he can troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, and building automation issues.

Lately, I've been thinking a lot about how we develop people. The best leaders and technicians I've worked with didn't have perfect resumes, they had curiosity, work ethic, and someone willing to invest in them. I'm interested in how we create more of those opportunities while making our teams stronger, more efficient, and better equipped for what's next.
