Michael Caldwell

Real estate is a long game and so are relationships. The trust you build with investors, counterparties, intermediaries and colleagues compounds over decades and I've found it ends up mattering more than any single investment opportunity.
Managing Director, Investments
Michael leads acquisitions, dispositions, development, and financing activities as Managing Director, holding an MBA from UCLA Anderson and prior investment banking experience in Evercore's Real Estate Group and Goldman Sachs' Industrials Group. His transaction background covers private real estate asset and portfolio sales, recapitalizations, public company M&A, and debt and equity capital advisory.
I'm fascinated by how technology, and AI in particular, is changing the investing craft. Tasks that once took a week now take an afternoon, which means our team can cover more ground and spend more time on the things that require judgment and human interaction: interpreting data, spending time in market, and building relationships. Deals still get done between people, but the tools around them are advancing quickly and we’re focused on staying ahead of the curve
