Katie Vila

As an engineer and a leader, I start with the belief that every problem has a solution. We find it by stepping outside our comfort zone, testing, failing, learning, and trying again.

Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer, Katie oversees Roundhouse's investment and operations platforms, leading property management, acquisitions, dispositions, development, and financing across the portfolio. Since joining the company in June 2016, she has directly overseen more than $1 billion of real estate transactions, including ten new developments and more than twenty acquisitions across California, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Minnesota, Washington, and Colorado. Katie started her career as a civil engineer focused on private land development and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and now lives in southeast Boise, where she enjoys traveling, skiing, and exploring the outdoors.
