Casey Lynch

I've come to believe that much of business success comes from doing simple things exceptionally well, not from complexity. But simple things only compound if they're done consistently over long stretches of time, which is achieved through culture as much as process.
Chief Executive Officer
Casey founded Roundhouse in 2008 after a career start in finance and strategy consulting in New York, launching his real estate entrepreneurship during the Great Recession with the purchase of a single condominium unit in Fontana, California. He built the firm into a fully integrated developer of multifamily housing across the Western US, spanning adaptive re-use, complex infill land entitlements, public-private partnerships, and ground-up mixed-use development, with work recognized by Fast Company, Architectural Record, and Bloomberg. He holds degrees in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania and Finance from UCLA.
I'm focused on the connection between our frontline work, meaning our community management and construction teams, and the outcomes for the investors who trust us with their capital. Capital markets view our asset class as a set of line items, but every one of those line items is the product of hundreds of decisions made by people on the ground. How well we serve our customer, the resident, is more tightly coupled to profitable outcomes than our industry assumes, which is why we keep those decisions in-house.
